Skip Hire

We provide a range of skip sizes to West Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset, and the surrounding areas. To find out if we cover your area or if you are unsure about the size of skip you require, or what you should or should not put in your skip, please give us a call on 01225 862574.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We require all skips to be loaded level with the sides so that they can be transported safely. There are a number of items which MUST NOT be disposed of in our skips, including: TVs (including flat screen)

fridges, freezers, gas cylinders, fire extinguishers, biological waste, car batteries, waste oils, asbestos, fluorescent bulbs, paint, tyres, and explosives. TO DO SO WILL INCUR A HIGH DISPOSAL CHARGE. Please avoid moving skips after they have been placed.
All mattresses have an extra charge of £25+VAT Each. If you have a mattress please ask for details when ordering

3 YARD SKIP

Dimensions: L 2m, 6’7” W 1.5m, 5’ H 0.9m, 3’
Holds approx 30-40 black bags.
Suitable for minor building jobs.

4 YARD SKIP

Dimensions: L 2.5m, 8’3” W 1.6m, 5’2” H 0.9m, 3’
Holds approx 40-50 black bags.
Suitable for construction work or garden landscaping.

6 YARD SKIP

Dimensions: L 3.3m, 11’1” W 1.8m, 5’10” H 1.1m, 3’7”
Holds approx 60-70 black bags.
Suitable for all building jobs, or large clear outs.

12 YARD SKIP

Dimensions: L 3.9m, 13’ W 1.8m, 6′ H 1.6m, 5’3”
Holds approx. 100-150 black bags.
Suitable for large construction and building jobs.

DETAILS FOR HIRE

Hire Period

Our standard skip hire period is up to 2 weeks. However, if you require a skip for longer, we’re happy to arrange this.

Next Day Delivery

We can usually offer next day skip hire delivery.

Payment

We take payment on delivery. You can pay cash, card payments can be taken over the phone or a cheque to the driver, who will provide you with a receipt.

Asbestos Removal

We can provide skips for asbestos removal, and will also register the the site with the council.

Discounts

We can offer discounts for 6 yard skips containing just rubble, or soil.

Access Issues

If access is tight we can usually overcome this with one of our smaller lorries. We are also able to place skips over low walls and hedges. If in doubt please contact us.

Wait and Load Service

We offer a wait and load service at no extra cost. We allow upto an hour for you to load the skip while the driver waits.

On-Road Permits

If you require a skip to be placed on the road, we can arrange the permit and provide the lights, cones and signs.
